Our congratulations to Alan Bailey on his very convincing re-election
as Councillor for Blaby and Glen Parva in June of this year. He now holds the office of Chairman for Blaby District Council.

COFFEE SHOP
 
Our 'Coffee Shop' is open on Friday and Saturday mornings
from 10.30am-12.30pm

Fairtrade ground coffee, tea and other beverages will be on sale accompanied by biscuits and cake. There is also a second-hand book sale in aid of Chapel funds.
So invite your family and friends and bring along those unwanted paperbacks that someone else might now enjoy.

Congratulations to Cllr. Manjula Sood on being awarded an M.B.E. for ‘Services to the community in Leicester’ in the recent Birthday Honours List.
Last year Manju became the UK’s first Asian Lady Mayor, and she still serves in the capacity of deputy this year.

Warmest congratulations to Dr Anthony Fletcher on the book launch of 'The Lichens of Great Britain and Ireland' which he jointly edited.
